1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Zilwe ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and all activity under your account.
3. The service
Zilwe is a cross-platform catalog that shows Trust Scores and structured user reviews for online courses hosted elsewhere (YouTube, Udemy, Coursera, edX, freeCodeCamp and others). Zilwe does not host, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any course content, and links out to the original platform.
4. User content & license to Zilwe
You retain ownership of the reviews, reports, and other content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Zilwe a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service. You warrant that your content is your own honest opinion and does not infringe anyone's rights.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) submit unlawful, infringing, harmful, harassing, or misleading content; (b) impersonate any person or submit fake reviews; (c) interfere with the Service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or scrape data; (d) manipulate Trust Scores or reviews, including coordinated review campaigns or paid reviews; (e) use the Service to spam or distribute malware.
6. No accreditation
Zilwe is not an accredited institution and does not issue degrees, certificates, or professional licenses. Trust Scores are a quality signal only and do not constitute an endorsement.
7. Trust Score
Trust Scores are a composite quality signal generated by Zilwe from public, verified user activity. The exact formula is confidential and may change without notice. Zilwe does not guarantee any particular score for any course or creator.
8. Intellectual property
The Zilwe name, logo, design, software, and aggregate data are owned by Zilwe and protected by intellectual property laws. User Content remains owned by its author, subject to the license in Section 4. Course titles, descriptions, and thumbnails referenced in the catalog remain the property of their respective platforms and creators.
9. DMCA & takedown
If you believe content on Zilwe infringes your copyright, follow the procedure on our DMCA page.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Reviews you submitted may remain visible for the integrity of the Trust Score, in anonymized form where possible.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Zilwe does not warrant that any course, review, or Trust Score is accurate, complete, or up to date, or that the Service will be uninterrupted.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zilwe and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Total liability for any claim shall not exceed USD 100.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Zilwe harmless from any claim arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
